We anchor our identity, purpose, and hope in Jesus.
What this means
Jesus is not an accessory to our lives; He is the center.
Our circumstances, achievements, relationships, politics,
finances, and emotions may change, but Jesus remains steady.
We continually return to His Word, His grace, and His
finished work as the foundation for who we are and how we live.
Quiet Practices
- Read Scripture throughout the week.
- Pray before making decisions.
- Ask where your identity is resting.
Relational Practices
- Pray with people when needs arise.
- Encourage others with Scripture.
- Choose obedience over comfort.

Broken Yet Redeemed
We honestly acknowledge our brokenness while trusting the
redeeming grace of Jesus.
What this means
We do not pretend to be perfect, and we do not expect
perfection from one another. We confess sin, receive grace,
extend forgiveness, and trust Jesus to keep transforming us.
Quiet Practices
- Confess sin honestly to God.

Relational Practices
- Apologize without defensiveness.

Jesus has gifts, experiences, and opportunities that can be
used for the good of others and the glory of God.
Personal Practices
- Identify the gifts God has entrusted to you.
- Make room in your schedule to serve.
- Serve faithfully without needing recognition.
Shared Practices
- Join a ministry team.
- Notice and respond to practical needs.
- Invite and equip others to participate.
What this looks like
- People participate rather than only observe.
- Needs are met without one person carrying everything.
- Serving is connected to love, not guilt.
- New leaders are encouraged and equipped.

- More people are serving.
- Responsibility is shared across the church family.

Caring & United Community
We pursue deep, healthy relationships marked by care, truth,
patience, and unity in Christ.
What this means
The church is a family, not a weekly audience. We move
toward one another, carry burdens, celebrate joys, work
through conflict, and protect our unity around Jesus.
Personal Practices
- Make time for meaningful relationships.
- Ask honest questions and listen carefully.
- Pray regularly for people in the church.
Relational Practices
- Show up in seasons of joy and sorrow.
- Address conflict directly and graciously.
- Welcome people who are new or overlooked.

Disciples Who Multiply & Proclaim
We follow Jesus, help others follow Jesus, and proclaim the
good news wherever He has placed us.
What this means
Discipleship is not only receiving biblical teaching. It is
becoming more like Jesus and intentionally helping others
know, trust, and follow Him.
Personal Practices
- Pray regularly for people who do not know Jesus.
- Grow in explaining the Gospel clearly.
- Look for everyday opportunities to obey Jesus.
Relational Practices

North Village Church is a non-denominational church in Austin, Texas by the Domain. We are centered around Jesus and teaching the Bible as a Christian church. We are made up of professionals, married couples, singles, and families who are wanting to experience the life-transforming power of Jesus.
