NORTH VILLAGE CHURCH MISSION
North Village Church is a non-denominational church in Austin, Texas that is centered around Jesus and teaching the Bible as a Christian church. We are made up of professionals, married couples, singles, and families who are wanting to experience the life-transforming power of Jesus.

2009
Bold Faith
In the Summer of 2009, 15 adults started meeting at Pastor Michael Dennis’ home to start NVC and see what church done differently might look like.

Committed to the Community
On September 13, 2009, just a few months into NVC’s history, we had our first home for Sunday worship. Meeting at Lucy Read provided new opportunities to carry out mission in North Austin.
Fruitful and Multiplying
In 2017, NVC’s culture and congregation were strong enough to plant 2 new churches in neighboring communities.

Growing by God’s Grace
In 2019, NVC celebrated 10 years as a vibrant church family rooted in Jesus! With flourishing community groups and established local missions, we are so excited to see what God has planned for our future.

Rising Up and Reaching
Beginning in February 2020, during a global pandemic, we began the process of acquiring a more permanent home. After a full year of communicating with lawyers, city officials, and contractors, we finally signed the lease in early February 2021. As of May 23, 2021, we have officially moved into our new home!

We strive to always be growing in our relationship with Jesus, the church body, and the community, but we rotate the theme of our yearly focus to be more intentional in one of these areas.

Church Partnering and Planting
We are a thriving church plant that want people all over the world to have a local church that enriches their lives.
Partnering with Established Churches
Our pastors and leadership meet every month with established churches in the community to prayerfully consider how we can partner together to chase after every man, woman, and child in Greater Austin.
Planting New Churches
We have partnered with Hill Country Bible Church in Austin, and the Acts 29 international church planting network, to financially support new churches. We have also helped develop and train pastors who are starting churches around the world. Here is a quick snapshot:
