Embolden: Following Jesus with Boldness and Courage

Joshua 24:15, “If it is disagreeable / undesirable in your sight to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living;
but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

There are times we all feel less confident in our faith.  We are nervous our faith in Jesus might offend someone.  How does one talk about their faith in Jesus in the workplace or the neighborhood?  This is why our church family wants to take the next 12 months to ask the Lord to embolden our faith in Jesus.  

September 2023 – August 2024 we want to focus our church family on growing in boldness and courage in our faith.  How does a follower of Jesus grow in boldness and courage?  Our elders prayerfully considered three areas of our faith in Jesus and we believe if we lean into these three areas over the next 12-months we will grow in boldness and courage:
